Wristlet Key Fob

It has been quiet in my sewing room while I tackled some painting projects around the house, but I'm back to creating new items for my Etsy shop.

Today, I've listed a couple of wristlet key fobs that are made with strong cotton webbing, and adorable kitty fabrics! A cute charm hangs from the split ring!

These keychains are great to slip on your wrist as you carry bags or kids to your car. Your keys will be easy to find in the bottom of your purse or totebag. This makes a great gift for the new driver in your family, the petsitter, the graduate, or the cat lover in your life!

Enjoy!

Creatively Kreativ

The Beaded Tail bestowed this honor on my blog over the weekend! Be sure to check out the beautiful jewelry in her Etsy shop!

Okay, the requirement for receiving this award is to list your seven favorite things, and then to pass the award on.

My seven favorite things: - in no particular order, of course:

There are so many creative people in the blogosphere! Here are a few very talented artists that I enjoy visiting.

Speaking of painting, I'll be spending the next couple of days painting our study. I can do big walls in one color. Real art is what you'll find when you click on those links!

Here a Stray, There a Stray!

Look at these two strays that wandered in from the woods! It's amazing what you'll find lurking around the birdfeeders.

Luckily, I had a request for a solid gray cat that loves the color red, and a torti with attitude! I think these two fit the bill, and they didn't last long in my Etsy shop!

Safe travels tomorrow, girls!

Little Love Bug

This sweet love bug is Tiskers. He is a friend of ours on Catster, and he was recently diagnosed with juvenile onset hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. When his friends Nikko and Scooter heard the news, they knew that Tiskers needed a snooze sack from The Cat in the Clover.

They sent in a request for fabric with healing ladybugs and Tiskers' favorite red color. Those ladybugs were bringing luck because I happen to have the perfect fabric in the house already! The snooze sack was made that very night and shipped out the next day. We all wanted Tiskers to be resting in comfort ASAP!

Tiskers is only a year old, and of course, his Mom and Dad were very upset when they got the news. He is taking medication, and we are all praying for him as he battles this disease.

Auction to Help Aldo!

Aldo is a well-known kitty on Catster. Almost one year ago, his Mommy unexpectedly passed away. Thanks to the diligent efforts of many friends, he was rescued and found a new forever home in Baltimore.

He has recently become sick, and due to his Mom's current unemployment, his vet bills are mounting. His Catster friends are holding an auction to help raise money for Aldo!

I have taken on the task of creating a blog and posting items that are available for bidding. The auction will run until May 25th. There are a variety of items - cat-related, books, jewelry, nicknacks, home decor, and more! New items are being added daily.

Please take a few minutes and check out the auction! Place bids in the comment section of the item you wish to bid on. Contact information must be left (either Catster ID#, email address, or blog that has an email contact) or you could lose your high bid to the next highest bidder!

If you don't have a blogger account, you can select Anonymous or Name/URL from the drop down menu! Thanks, and bid often!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Cats know that Cinco de Mayo is all about siestas, not fiestas!

Have a good one!

More Handsome Orangeness!

One look into Louis LeBeau's eyes and you're in love! What a gorgeous mancat! Louis is modeling the floof collar from The Cat in the Clover that he won in a group's contest at Catster. Louis said he likes the collar because it is soft against his neck.

Louis also loved the freebie that came with the collar - the catnip pouch! I've heard lots of good responses on that little catnip pouch. I'm glad he is enjoying it.

Thanks to Catster Tigress for purchasing items from my shop for her contest!

He Loves His Mother!

Well, Taz may call his Mom the WS (wicked stepmom), but deep down, I know he loves her very much! And to show his love, he is wearing a Mother's Day tie from The Cat in the Clover!

Taz is known on Catster as one of the best dressed mancats. I think it's a very fitting title!

Timo's Fluffy Floof!

Timo is an Iowa Hawkeye fan! He was a winner in a Catster group contest, and several of the winners received gifts from my Etsy shop. Two kitties got a Floof Collar, and I was told it didn't matter which kitty received the different colored floofs.

You can imagine how excited Timo was when his gold and black floof arrived - Iowa Hawkeye colors! Woo hoo - he has a purrfect collar to wear when he is cheering on his team!

And Timo is a very handsome model too!

Hello to Kitty!

Stray Cat No. 7, who is now named Kitty, made it to her new home. Here she is with Rocky Ann. They are both so pretty in pink!

Speaking of pink, tomorrow at Kentucky Oaks day at Churchill Downs, there will be a Pink Out! They are asking eveyone in attendance to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness.

One hundred thirty-five cancer survivors will form a parade to bring the horses from the stable to the track for the running of the Oaks. They will also form a horseshoe in the winner's circle where the winning filly is presented with a garland of pink star gazer lilies!

Have your own Pink Out tomorrow - Rocky Ann and Kitty will be looking pawsome in pink!

Just a Big Softie - or Two!

The Hickory Heights Stray Cat Softies are getting adopted before they are even found! The request for this first kitty below was to be on the lookout for a pink, girly kitty wearing a bow at her ear.

Well, look what I found down by our garden! What is more girly than pink whiskers? Her name is Kitty, and she will be flying to California.

Another request came in to look for a German princess stray cat! Who would have thought that Fraulein Prinzessin would be found in Kentucky? She obviously didn't spend too much time outside because her white fur is nice and clean! She must have been one of those throw-out-the-window-of-the-limo strays.

She is a gift, so I can't tell you where she is going to live until she gets there. Besides, princesses like to have some mystery to their lives!

Birds of a Feather!

Not only to birds stick together, but pet lovers do too! The owner of the Feline Feathers Etsy shop, who makes super cute items like these catnip mice, also has a blog.

On her blog, Feline Feathers, she features various Etsy shops that sell pet related items. Today she featured my Etsy shop's Ring-A-Ding toys! What an honor - thank you so much!

Be sure to check out Feline Feathers and all the other great pet lovers who create fun items on Etsy!
