Moderncat!

If you've never heard of Moderncat, you must check out their website - very cool products! They recently added a link to their site that showcases their favorite Etsy sites.

The Cat in the Clover made the list! Thanks to Diego's mom for the comment on one of their blog entries:

Thank you so much for compiling a great selection of etsy sellers. I have already ordered one item and have seen a ton of other that I want. Check out “The Cat in the Clover” store on etsy.

Grandma Would Cry!

Being a fan of thrift stores and antique hunting, I've come across so many beautiful linens that once graced the homes of my grandparents' generation. I've been particularly interested in the pretty hankies, and I've purchased quite a few with the intention of doing something with them.

Some of them are pretty enough to frame which I plan to do. And some of them make a cat's neck look spiffy! This is a prototype that Samoa and Newman are modeling. It is held on their neck by velcro and is very comfortable. It has a row of rick rack across the top.

Newman thinks he looks like a sissy wearing a big pink rose, but I think he looks yummy cute! Be looking for these Hankie Collars in my Etsy shop!

Handsome!

A couple of very handsome boys are modeling the neckties from my Etsy shop. Boogers is wearing a gift from his pal, Pansy. Dang, he is cute!

And Bellsnickles looks super duper in his valentine tie. Don't you love his name?

There is something about a cat in a tie . . . . . . . the girls are all swooning!

Kanzashi

Diego's Mom makes beautiful fabric flowers called Kanzashi. Kanzashi are hair ornaments used in traditional Japanese hairstyles. The fabric is folded in different ways to create the flowers. She recently sent me two beautiful ones that she made.

I created a collar and attached the Kanzashi. I sent it to LuLu, Diego's sister. She is a shy little girl, so Diego said he would do the modeling! Doesn't he look handsome?

Rusty in a Floof!

I get so excited when a customer sends me a picture of their furry enjoying one of the items from my Etsy shop!

Doesn't Rusty look adorable in the Lime Time Blue Hue floof collar?

He looks like a younger version of Calvin, and I sure love the orange boys!

Mail from Sammy the Cat!

We were very excited today to receive a letter from Sammy the Cat! You'll remember that Sammy the Cat was kicked out of his daily job as an assistant at the Notasulga Post Office because some woman complained.

Lots of supportive cats across the country sent Sammy letters, treats, toys, and monetary donations. We made a blanket for Sammy, and he sent us this nice letter with handwritten notes in the margin.

We're so happy that he likes the blanket, and if he is ever allowed back in the post office, he will use it in his favorite spot.

Maybe Sammy will join Catster when he checks it out! He would have a lot of friends because any Catster that reads the blog knows all about Sammy!

That silly woman who made the complaint filed a new complaint saying Sammy is causing her allergies to flare. This woman should find something useful to occupy her time!

If you click on the letter and see it full sized, you should be able to read it! Sammy is donating any money he receives to the Macon County Humane Society.

Sammy rocks!
