Birthday Celebrations!

We start a new month with lots of birthdays to celebrate! Tigger looks especially handsome today in his ice cream cone Calvin Collar as he turns 19! You're a real inspiration, Tigger! We hope your day is extra special.


Today we also remember sweet Alfie who celebrates his birthday with his angel pals at the rainbow bridge. We know his family is fondly remembering their precious boy.


And it's party time for these three siblings! Cutie Rose is turning 11 years old!

Her look-alike sister, Callie, is 9 years old!


Brother, Teebo, is also celebrating his 9th birthday!

Mr D and Balty

All of us at The Cat in the Clover send sympathy purrs to Mr D and his family. His older brother, Balty, just made his journey to the bridge. He was 21 years old - 21 years for a cat is pretty remarkable!

Mr D recently went missing from his home. After he found his way back, one of his pals sent him our snooze sack.

When he isn't cuddled up in the bed, Mr D likes to knead on the soft fleece!

Gump Celebrates #17!

This handsome tuxie is Gump, and today he is 17 years old!

His pal, Ollie (and family), gave him a snooze sack for his birthday, and based on the adorable slideshow on his Catster page, I think the present was a big hit!

Parker!

This handsome mancat is Parker. He lives at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. The Cat in the Clover is sponsoring him - our seventh cat sponsorship since 2009.

For every 25 Calvin Collars that are sold in my Etsy shop, we sponsor an orange/orange-white cat in memory of Calvin. Free from all the noise!

Can you imagine living at an industrial site? Parker was part of a feral cat colony at a Boeing site in California for the first year or so of his life. Then they tore the plant down, so Parker came to Best Friends for safety.

What a different home he has now! Cozy beds and plentiful food instead of noise and scary machines. He is extremely agile, and friendly with the other cats in his room. Parker hasn't gotten over his shyness with strangers, but he's grown calmer with his caregivers and appreciates his comfortable life at the sanctuary. But he's growing jealous of other cats who have sponsors, and would like someone to take an interest in him, too! Won't you sponsor a handsome orange and white kitty?
