100 and Counting!

Pretty Sandy purchased the 100th Calvin Collar from my Etsy shop! Thank you, Sandy! Because of your purchase, we are sponsoring our fourth kitty at Best Friends Animal Society.

And our kitty to sponsor is this sweet boy named Sunny! Before Calvin came to live with me, he lived with my aunt and three other siblings. One of his brothers was named Sunny, so I was excited to sponsor this kitty named Sunny.

Here is what Best Friends had to say about him:

Bright-eyed and curious, he's cute as a button.

But some people call this guy Sunny d! That's his gangsta name, because Sunny's kind of a cool character. He's friendly, but not a mush. And don't try to move him from his cat bed. "People are trying to sleep here!"

But Sunny loves being petted, and he's got a soothing purr. His natural little head tilt is adorable, and caused some folks to give him a new breed name -- the "tilty-headed tabby".

Sunny was rescued from an animal rescue in Pahrump, Nevada that was shut down for neglect. How scary! But he's OK now. He was probably born in about 2002, and aside from a few kitty colds he's had, he's in great health. He does just fine with other pets, and wouldn't mind one or two.
