The guy in charge kept asking if anyone would like to take a dog on an outing into town. When no one volunteered, Ted said he would do that, but we had a rental car. No problem - they brought him a blanket for the backseat, a portable water bowl, some treats, and Charles de Dog!
Charles was a really good boy and loved riding in the car. They got out several times and took a walk. He was good on the leash too. Charles is 12 years old, and isn't fond of other dogs, but he is great around people.I hope someday soon Charles de Dog can know the love of a forever home!

That was so nice of you to take Charles out for an outing and I'm sure he enjoyed it so much! I hope he finds his furever home soon too!
We just got the Best Friends Magazine today and there was Charles! How fun you got to go in the car car with him! He musta enjoyed that ride so!

aww - bless his heart. 12 years old and no home to call his own...how sad. There are so many.
I'm sure he appreciated some personal attention from you guys.
