Love Is In The Air!

It's not quite February, but cats can't wait to share some love with their pals for Valentine's Day!

Pretty Hazel Basil is digging the snooze sack she got from her Valentine Zack!

Zack picked out the purrfect gift!

Tessa got this comfy kneading blankie from her beau, Mittens!

Midnight can't decide which kneading blankie she likes better, so why not just catnap on both of them?

Big Harry thinks his girlfriend is the cat's meow to send him this snooze sack!

Boogers knows that Pansy looks pretty in pink, and she is right in style with her Valentine Calvin Collar!

Let the month of love begin!

Something New!

A fun new item has been added to The Cat in the Clover! Check out this Cat Subway Art printable. Subway art is a fun way to combine phrases, words, and sayings on a favorite subject.

The Cat Subway Art comes as a high resolution jpeg - ready for you to print on your own computer, or taken to a place like Kinkos or Office Max to be printed. It is sized for a regular 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock or photo paper, but it can be trimmed to 8 x 10 if framing is desired.

At only $4.50, it will be a fun addition to your home to further express your love of cats! Check it out here!

It's a Small World After All

I've had this cute spoon rest for years. I think my mother-in-law gave it to me during the time when we had our first calico cat named Callie.

After using it this morning, I was washing it off, and I turned it over and couldn't believe my eyes! I'm sure I've seen the back of this spoon rest many times, but it didn't click until today!

Nina Lyman is a cat gal I know from Facebook! She makes ceramic bowls and other items from portraits of your pets. Here is her website - Nina's Big Store!

I guess I need to start looking at the backside of other stuff around my house - who knows what I'll find!

8th Sponsored Cat at Best Friends!

For every 25 Calvin Collars that are sold at The Cat in the Clover, we sponsor an orange kitty at Best Friends Animal Society. We had a generous Secret Santa who ordered ten Calvin Collars and that pushed us over the 200 mark. So, it is time to sponsor another kitty!

Meet Fredrika!

Here is what Best Friends has to say about this pretty girl:

This dry desert air makes it so hard to maintain a decent hairdo....especially with long golden tresses.

But Fredrika, who is a charter member of a famous cat building at Best Friends called the Colonel's Barracks, is a dignified kitty who doesn't let that get her down. She has a favorite spot in the high up in the rafters staked out, but she is an old hand at the sanctuary, and will come down to pose for a camera when it is requested. She also comes inside at night. She is tolerating people much better than she used to, and she gets along with all the other cats in her room. Fredrika was born in 1998 and came to Best Friends from another animal organization near Phoenix.

Fredrika is happy to have a safe place to live, but she still hopes some day for a forever home. If you can't give her that, would you be willing to sponsor her to help her maintain her elevated position here at Best Friends? She will thank you for it!

Newman's Poopology Book Drops!
